Julie Lewis – Deputy Chair
Kia ora my name is Julie Lewis – I’m originally from the USA, but have been living in Rotorua for 10 years. I’m the Creative Director at Dubzz Digital Marketing and hope to bring my online marketing skills to help the Rotorua Arts Village continue to grow. I’m passionate about creating meaning and bringing people together through art and cultural experiences. With two small boys at home, I hope to contribute to a thriving and diverse community that represents the beauty of Aotearoa.

Gill Brocas – Secretary
I have a history of working in education and the arts. I know the powerful role that the arts has to play in peoples well-being and a cities vibrancy. I am passionate about work of the Arts Village in providing a space for artists to grow and thrive.

Secondly I am a Kapa Haka Performer and Tutor and finally I am the Director Māori of Archives New Zealand. I have a huge passion for the arts and how it contributes to well being and health. The Arts village is an amazing hub that ensures Rotorua has a home for diverse arts and culture. I am humbled as a board member to be able to support the great mahi that goes on here. E rere kau ana ngā mihi.

Kaeleb Ngatai- Trustee
Kia Ora I am Kaeleb, there aren’t really many words that can fully describe me, I’m such an amazing and complicated being, I’m more of a sensation an idea! The best way to describe me would be a fragrance, you’d smell it and go that’s Kaeleb. Be like wet clay and coffee!

Rosie Riggir- Trustee
Kia Ora, I’m Rosie. Creativity, art and art makers are important to me and to every thriving community. I’m lucky to have made art and worked with artists all over the world; with small companies and in great institutions. I can’t wait to learn about and support the Rotorua Arts Village.

Natasha Diamond- Trustee
A keen ear listening to stories unfold. An observant eye, a weaver of tales, a spinner of yarns, let’s paint with words. The Uber eats driver for my children, the pasta to my husbands lasagne – kaiwhakapapa, kaimanaki, kaituhi, kaipānui mmmmm kaimoana – yum!! Ko Natasha Diamond tōku ingoa. He uri ahau nō Te Tai Tokerau. Creatives are among some of my favourite people in the world. The creative process, the chosen medium, the vulnerability and courage to share. I’m new to the Board and the honour is all mine to serve the Arts community of Rotorua. Mauri āio, Mauri ora

Rio Hemopo-Hunuki – Trustee
