The 200 Show 2024
The 200 Show is an art show that aims to showcase local artists in a fun way, allowing both emerging and established artists to experiment and grow their practice. This also allows art lovers to purchase works by local artists in a wide range of media, conveniently timed just before Christmas. 2024 will see the show take over our gallery for the 11th year in a row.
This year’s 200 Show will have an optional theme in conjunction with the show’s 11th year in a row. “Hide & Seek” is this year’s theme. Looking ahead to Raumati (Summer), hide a little Sunshine somewhere on your piece. This theme is not compulsory, but a way for artists to get inspired.
Open to all artists working, studying, and living in Rotorua. You can submit up to three works, any medium, 2D or 3D. Works must not exceed $200 and must not be bigger or smaller than 200mm x 200mm.
Important Dates:
- Art and Registration: hand in by Saturday 23rd November 10 am-1.30pm
- Opening Event: Saturday 30th November, 10.30am
- Exhibition Dates: Saturday 30th November 2024 to Saturday 25th January 2025
- Artwork Collection Dates: Tuesday January 28th and Wednesday January 29th, 10am-2pm
