Saturday 23rd September, 10:00am to 2:00pm, Open Day - Visit The Arts Village to find out more about what happens here, meeting our groups and get information about upcoming classes and events. Learn how you can be involved as a volunteer or work with us to bring your ideas and projects to life. This event is also open to other interested community groups to set up a stall to talk about your activities with our visitors. We also have a fabulous free kids activity on offer!

Saturday 30th September 12noon to 3pm Intro to wax carving: make your own ring ready to be cast in sterling silver!  $40 for this session (Casting session on 12th Oct costs $20 + metal costs which are extra and are calculated once the ring has been cast). Join this taster class and we will use leaves as our inspiration for a two-colour reduction print. Ingrid Snyman is a Rotorua artist who discovered a love for lino-cutting in 2016 and is exploring the myriad possibilities with this medium. “There are so many possibilities with this medium!”. Friday 1st December, 5:30pm to 7:00pm, 200 Show Exhibition Opening and Arts Village Holiday Celebration - Join us for an evening of celebration to look back the the year we have had and open the annual 200 Show, an exhibition of works by local artists within 200 x 200mm and priced at $200 or less, just in time for Christmas!
