*CLOSED* Call for Artists: Te Haerenga / Journey

Rotorua artists are invited to submit original works for inclusion in our upcoming group show ‘Te Haerenga / Journey ‘ Group Show 2019.

Aotearoa. We all got here through a unique journey; and this whenua connects us all.

As we look ahead to the nine stars of Matariki to see what the year will bring, this exhibition is the celebration of how we got here.

The Arts Village invites Rotorua based artists to tell us about the journey that brought you here, to Rotorua or Aoteraoa New Zealand. The subject is broad and can relate to your own personal journey or that of your ancestors.

We are delighted to announce that local artist Jamie Rolleston will join us for this show as our featured artist. We are thrilled to have Jamie on board and excited to share more about her mahi with you in the coming weeks.
